On the 12th of June1979 he left the port of Gdynia on his yacht Dar Przemysla on the longest possible non stop around the world journey. He arrived back in Gdynia in 344 days after traveling 31, 920 nautical miles.Upon his return he said: People think that solo journey is difficult and it is a heroic deed.
